Hello,
I am a new bus owner so I appreciate any help I can get. I have been visitor to this board regularly and have found it very insightful. Bought a 1967 GM 4502 which is in generally in good shape and mostly converted. I have it at my mechanic's now to get it safetied and they were surprised how solid it was but the brake pads are separating and it needs a new clutch. Here is my problem. They haven't been able to find a clutch . Any idea's. I live in Southwest Ontario.
Call Luke at US Coach 1-888-262-2434, between 9-5 Eastern, M-F.
He's probably forgotten more about GMC buses than all the combined knowledge on these bulletin boards.
Have the transmission model number handy - it's on a plaque on the curb side of the gearbox, in front of the trans oil dipstick.
FWIW & HTH. . .
;)
Thank you!
Steve
