Title: Hail Damage
Post by: rip on June 25, 2011, 05:17:39 AM
I am parked next to my brother-in-laws house in Rapid City S.D. when a storm blew in last night. The weather can change fast around here and did yesterday.During dinner the skies were clear when the nastiest clouds I have ever seen started to come in. The wind picked up and during the hail storm you cold not see across the street. The hail was golf ball size and caused a lot of damage. The hail damage both windshields on my Prevost along with one of the side windows. My satellite was damaged along with some body dents. My toad received a lot of damage along with everyother car that was outside.I guess it could of been worse but still not good. All the houses around here had broken windows and some trees were down.

My folks had a 5th wheel s&s trailer that the insurance company paid to reskin twice because of hail and also repaired it again after a tornado flipped it on it's side while it was sitting in their yard. They wouldn't pay for the awning even though it was rolled up with the camper sitting on it. I always shake my head at what ac covers cost compared to the entire unit...
