I am going to have to order a new inversion Valve for my 1967 5a. As I was repairing a leaking hose that was connected to it when I noticed that the housing was wearing through were it is mounted. I have the Parts and Maintenance manuals and the part number is 4B-29-1 for the complete assembly, I could not find any marking on the actual unit, but I imagine it is made by Bendix and would be available locally if I had a way to cross reference it. I did go to the Bendix web site and used the MCI part number in the Bendix cross reference tool it responded with no article found. So I guess what I am asking is there a Cross reference list for MCI parts to Bendix Parts? Any guidance appreciated. I will see if I can post a picture of the wear as I was supprised how deep it had worn.
Jaime,
MCI shows that number as being superseded by 4G-29-1. Try your Bendix cross reference search without the dashes in the MCI number. You'll get a positive result using the new number.
