I have had the bus for over a year now. This weekend I was repairing some damaged wood in the bedroom and was going to remove the headboard. I noticed it was pulled away alittle and after some investigation I spotted the velcro holding the top. I pulled on it and to my surprise there was more storage located behind it. Seems like I learn something new everytime I work on the bus. (Im still waiting to find the bag of money the PO hid somewhere ;D)

Check and see if there is not another removable panel in the cavity you found.
Many buses have access to the engine from inside the bus at the back for maintenance.
.
That is the gun cabinet of course..
Look at dem knobby knees!

LMAO!!! I can't say much however. When I wear shorts people ask if I'm riding a chicken!!!
I think EVERY bus nut should consider a hiding place for documents, etc.
Yeah I was trying to stay out of the picture ;D........my 9 yr old son said it look like a neat place for him to sleep.....go figure

great place to hide your "Mary Jane" when you cross the border
The dogs will find the mary jane no matter where you put it

I found something in a cubby hole in My coach several years after I got it! I was digging out some spare parts that were rat holed under the 24 volt kill switch and was shocked by a snap a blinding pain and a skinned elbow as I removed My arm! Firmly attached on My finger was a mouse trap! None of the former owners claim the trap. Be careful where You dig! John L
The PO put a rear cap on my 5A. I was running some new wires for reading lights in the bedroom when i discovered that i still have my rear windows. From what little i can see, i can't tell if any of them are cracked or not, but at least they are still there. Also found a handful of change and a nice little pocket knife he had lost. When i finally met him a year later i gave him the knife back but told him i had spent the change. ;D

Well it's been 30 mins between reading your post and finally getting over the laughter to post. Sorry junkman but that was too funny. Made my year so far. ;D ;D ;D
Lots of places to have hidden compartments. :)
When I bought Fishbowl Brian's bus and drove it back to Canada I crossed the border not even knowing there was a floor safe built into the floor under a cabinet in the bathroom.
There could have been anything in that safe.:) and I could be typing this from a jail cell :D
