Let me take a shot at trying to describe what I have on my Prevost, and see if this forum can give me a name of the device and perhaps where to buy same. I have two fresh water inputs on my Prevost, one on either side. There is a open - close valve just inside the fuel tank access panel. The valve is there to prevent having both valves open and having your input water become the output water on the far side of the bus. Now as a double protection there is also a spring loaded valve on the water input that will open when water pressure is applied, otherwise it will be closed, and even with the valve open water from the other side of the coach will not result in water being expelled on the opposite side. This spring is located inside the diameter of the input connection, and looks like it seals with a disc against a flange around the tube, and when the spring is compressed water goes around the diameter of the disc into the coach. Anyone know what it is, and where to get something like that. Will take pictures tomorrow.
TIA as always

That sounds like a regular check valve. Like you, I have two city water inlets, one on each side, to prevent dragging fresh water hoses under the bus, and I have standard brass 3/4" check valves ($8.99 each from Lowes) at each one. This way I just connect my hose to one side, and the opposite side remains closed.
Is this what you have?
John
I think so John, will take a picture today, and go to Lowes to see if it looks the same.
Thanks
