Title: Headlight Upgrade
Post by: Joe Camper on May 25, 2011, 03:33:57 AM
What is out there for an upgrade on the headlights for an early 90s XL?  Currently the bus has the big single plastic rectangular fixtures.

IBP had nothing

Some converters have performed cap and breastplate upgrades.

Excalibur Coach, Sanford, FL just redid a friends 2001 XLII with new windshields and front headlights.  Looks like 2010.  They have their own private headlight bucket that they cut into the front.  Their website shows lots of different upgrades available.  Some affordable and some---not so.

same footprint as 350 ford headlights of same vintage. I used that info to upgrade mine on the 98 xl

Sorry for just leaving this post, rude, my bad.

Yes that is what they look like.

Excalibur has exactly what I want for the older XLs thank you for that source Dave.
