Title: Toyota HighLander Hybrid help

wife just called. I know it's not bus but she is out and said it won't even unlock doors no elect power at all. any comments? have already called tow truck. And son going to retrieve her. Moderator's please feel free to remove. Just fishing for someone who might have experienced problem.  Bob ???

Things happen fast. Toyota is headed for dealership .We just bought it yesterday. Salesman took My trade in to my wife. And she is on her way. Out come to be determined.  Will not be driving that particular unit again! Not a happy camper rite now.Moderators please remove. and sorry for posting in first place. Bob

Bob,before you go I am sure they are the same as a Lexus and they have a shutdown system if it detects water in a certain area it will shut down my daughter in law her Lexus will shut down if she goes through a car wash sometimes don't you love electronics lol

Thanks for the info.Good thing about this is: I still have the title to the trade in and can stop the ck for the difference. 24 hrs is not a good life span for a vehicle like that.

Thats how they get the "GREEN" rating, if it only runs for 24 hours how much can it polute.

Give me back my Rabbit Diesel, it was kind of like a 2 stroke. Wanted, no demanded to be run into the Governor all the time.

Upside wasn't my choice so now I get to get her a differant vehicle I prefer. Couldn't have worked out better ;D

The non-hybrid Highlander is a fine car that will run trouble free for years and years.  We have 4-Runners but big Toyota fans.
