Title: need cummins L10 ecm best sourse?

Hi all,

anyone have a source for a ecm for a L10 Cummins. Rebuilt or Used   not sure on hp, might not make that much difference.  just need to get a truck running

Don't think a used one will save you any money by the time Cummins get through with you,there a outfit in CO that will rebuild yours or exchange for around a 1000 bucks or less you will need the serial number from the engine if the plate is missing on the ECM been awhile but I think it is Midwest what is problem with yours most of the time on those it is just corrosion

thanks for the replies.

  mine just quit abruptly, rattled inside, one little component, maybe a diode or something, corroded off the board.

i'll call the truck salvage yard

Dick, How did you make out? I may have one if you are still looking, need to look. I have 1 programmed for my bus, but may have another. Celect right?  Tom Y
