I have no interest in this bus nor the party selling it. Seen it and thought I'd share.

I live aprox 2 hours west of this rig and can recommend a shop or two in the area.
Bill in KS
At that price I wouldnt be surpised if it goes to the scrapper :(
That one won't go to the scrapper Eric the emblems on the sides are worth big bucks that is a collectors bus only 51 built and most are still around fwiw if it wasn't so far I would buy it wonder what engine ? they had 3 different engines the Cummins,Man and Detroit
good luck
I hope it dont go. but I know of alot of scrappers who wouldnt ever take the time to research its value.
One of my budys did the same thing with a silverline bus. Before I knew of it he had it destroyed.
It looks to be all original, pretty rare bird indeed.
The add states an 8V71,, but no description of the trans.>>>Dan
I have seen those side emblems on eBay for half of what they are asking for the bus. I hope someone saves it.
Those are nice for conversions the roof doesn't need to be raised, a true T drive plenty of room in the engine compartment any engine can be installed with very little work
good luck
If only I had a place to store it, I'd get it. That would be a good one to hang on to. I like the taller roof and the overall look. Oh well. :(
Hey guys where is Humboldt KS Iam heading home tomorrow from San Antionio and if it's not to far out of the way may go look at it. anybody know off hand ?
Humboldt, KS looks to be in far eastern Kansas. It is about 120 miles south of Kansas City and about 120 miles west of Witchita. If you're headed straight home to Montana it looks to be about 300 miles extra.
Man that bus has a lot of potential. I wish I had the time.
Thanks for the info , Thats a bit out of the way like 300 miles lol so I will have t pass. Thanks again
