Finally got my new to me toad, a 96 Tracker in excellent condition except for the beauty mark on the left front fender. Not as sexy as a 63 Corvair, but I can go places the Corvair can't!
Chuck - who may not paint it to match his Prevost - that would be oh so Prevo like ;)
Yeah to you Chuck! ;D Enjoy your new ride, Will
Great choice, I used a 95 until my daughter used it for driver training, the fire department cut the doors off for extrication, then I converted it to a hauler..
Actually we use it or pulling 5th wheels and trailers in and out of the storage barn...
Ebay has your fender for $65 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/89-90-91-92-93-94-95-96-97-98-TRACKER-L-FENDER-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQfitsZYearQ3a1996Q7cModelQ3aTrackerQQhashZitem1c196d838aQQitemZ120685691786QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/89-90-91-92-93-94-95-96-97-98-TRACKER-L-FENDER-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQfitsZYearQ3a1996Q7cModelQ3aTrackerQQhashZitem1c196d838aQQitemZ120685691786QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories)
Trackers are a great little car. I have a '89 that I use for around town. Really good fuel milage too. Makes a good toad.

OTOH, the Corvair more than likely could pull the Tracker out of the muck when it got stuck!
;D ;D
I don't want to hijack this thread, but speaking of toads, does anyone know if all the new hybrids with CVT transmissions can be towed four down just by putting in nuetral, or is that something unique to the Ford Escape Hybrid? (front wheel and four wheel drive Escape hybrids are towed four down simply by throwing the lever into nuetral). We're considering trading the dependable (heavy) liberty for a little hybrid with a CVT trans. Thanks for any input, Will
Check the owners manual!!!
