Title: Looking to find a Honda Civic Base plate
Post by: mugsytrpt on May 08, 2011, 02:48:27 PM
I was wondering if someone may have a Honda civic base plate you no longer need.  Roadmaster has one 508-1.  I am going to put it on a 1989 Honda civic hatchback.  I want to to do a permanent mount for the base plate and just have to unhook the tow bar.  If you do not have one, who know where I might get the best deal.  I have been looking around on the net.  Thanks for your input.

I have a Blue Ox BX 2211 system that I bought new a number of years ago for a 88 Honda Civic Wagon.  I never installed it or used it before selling the Honda.  Includes base plate, cables, hardware, solid A-frame tow-bar, etc.  I think I paid around 6 or 7 hundred for it all including shipping.  Located in southern Idaho.  I'd let it go for $300 - plus shipping.
