Title: You can now upload your own pictures ( avatars )
Post by: plyonsMC9 on March 25, 2006, 08:52:27 PM
You can now upload your own picture, as well as use an external web site to host your image.  There is now an additional option available when you go to edit your personal profile titled: I will upload my own picture.   If you would like, you can browse your local drive to upload the image.   These are also known as "avatars".  These pictures usually work best if they are smaller, something like 100x100 pixels.  Though, that isn't a requirement.  Good luck.  LMK if there are problems.  Regards, Phil   :)

Nick - thanks for giving it a shot.  What steps are you following - Do you see the upload area for avatars?  Does it see your pictures on the hard drive?  I have followed the procedure and changed my avatar to a picture of our backyard.  Do you get any error messages?

Let me know!!     ;D

Best Regards,  Phil

I thought you were talking about pics. on the message board.
but I will try on the personal profile.

From additional options, I hit browse, than picked pic. from my pictures, It than appeared on Attach,
a window than appeared to tell me I may have to paste to window. I did, and it didn't work!
Ok ,Now It's working........
