Where on a 4501 is the best place to put a air chuck to add air by a outside air comp.? Tony
I'm not familiar with your type of coach, but you should have an air line in the engine compartment above the engine. You might have to change the fitting. Opening the engine hatch at the rear is easier than crawling under the bus to hook up to your air tank.
Some of the later GM's had an air access below the fuel filler to drain your air tanks. BTW you should drain the moisture from your system every day or as often as practical when your coach is in use.

I have got one there on the 4106 but this is a scenicruiser with a T engine set up the compressor is is not accessable from the back. I was hoping there was a way under the drivers seat area or some where else. Tony
My bus has an Automotive-type male plug at the end of its wet tank drain tube, and an Industrial-type male plug (with a small Bendix shut-off valve) on its wet tank. I've also added an onboard electric air compressor tied into the accessories tank, and in an emergency it could be connected to the wet tank to air up the whole bus. (I cannot and never would drive the bus relying only on this compressor.)
Would something like this work for you?
Find the line from the air compressor to the wet tank. Find the check valve & put a tee fitting after the check valve. On the extra port on the tee, install a hand valve & a normal male quick connect fitting. This will also allow you to quickly release the air pressure if the need should arise.
Lots of buses have an air chuck on the aux air tank. My 4104 has an aux tank under the driver's seat accessible from outside the bus. The 4905 that lives next to it had one there as well, I'm guessing your bus does as well. In some ways an air chuck on the aux tank is a good place to put it, don't really need a cut off valve as the aux tank is already protected so as not to drain the air system if there is a leak.
I have a female NP fitting I can plug my Air hose into at the air Filter in the back right under the sign that says drain daily and up front I drilled a hole into the angled wall at the entry stairs and hooked it into the old door air opening line that used to have the red ball handle on it for air dump . I can hook my air guns or whatever out of it or with my 2 way male coupler can hook up a hose to fill the bus up and if motor in running also I can fill her up in about 5 minutes instead of 17 minutes.
