Post by: happycamperbrat on April 24, 2011, 07:11:21 PM
I was going thru your album and am curious about this AC. Which one is it? How does it work for you?

That's one of those things that is supose not to work! It is a 10,000 btu unit room ac that is vented thru roof via a 5 inch flex duct. The condensate drain runs out the floor via a piece of hose. Keeps last 15ft of bus very comfortable. Bedroom area. One of those outside the box things.   Bob

I was curious because I just bought this http://www.air-n-water.com/product/ka40.htm (http://www.air-n-water.com/product/ka40.htm) at my neighborhood hardware store (not home depot, but a mom and pop shop). I was thinking it might be good in the dash..... is yours an air conditioner or swamp cooler?

Those ac units work good if you vent it properly and reduce the amount of humidity let in to the room. They work best in a 100 sf room

Was intended to handle this zone of coach only and has preformed as needed and exceeded expectations.  Bob

That's kinda what I was thinking.... about the zones. I have a roof top that I need to install (was thinking about the back bunkroom for that one) and then putting this portable swamp cooler in the front dash. If I find that I need more cooling then those two, I will add probably a mini split. What is the make/model of yours?
