I just saw this and wondered if it would work for a copilot's seat. I noticed it swivels so it could be turned around facing the rear of the bus and used as a sitting chair while not going down the road. I haven't checked into seats yet so I'm not sure if this is a good deal or not. My drivers seat is very comfortable with no rips or tears either but the fabric color has to go. I thought that if the seat in this ad would work out...that I'd have it and my drivers seat both reupholstered in matching fabric to go with the interior colors of the conversion.. What do you all think??

I think we might be too late...Cable
I guess it sold. When I was putting my conversion together and didn't have a co-pilot's seat, I went to Costco and bought a black executive office chair. All leather and it swiveled. I made a base for it and it worked out fine as a temporary chair minus a seat belt. Now that I have all Flexsteel furniture I'm sitting on it right now in my office!
As long as you are looking on Craigslist for something to adapt, how about a massage chair; they swivel and recline.
Yeah.. I guess it has already sold.. It was an Air Ride Freightliner seat with armrest and swivel for $75.00. It didn't last long.

Lots of truck seats at the truck wreckers near you.
Be sure that the swivel feature will turn far enough around, some of them only go so many degrees and stop.
And the height of the seat with the air emptied out... some models sit quite low, others sit high. As to whether you want to think about needing an air source while camping, or how you want the chair to work while going down the road.
Lots of choices!
happy coaching!

Are any of the seats in a conversion required to be DOT approved? Is all of seating required to have seat belts? Kenny
Just lap belts is all that is required so I have been told for seating while traveling,if air safety bag are used then has to be a shoulder and lap belt never saw but 1 bus with air bags in the drivers compartment
good luck
