Ok a while ago I dropped the microwave on the tile in the kitchen floor. Well to be truthful it fell out of what I thought was a secure location. ;D But anyway I have three cracked tiles and really like the looks, so I was wanting to replace them if I can fine the right one's. Is this something that can be done with out to much trouble. or should I tare up the hole floor and just redo it.
I was also thinking about adding some led sheeting down if I tore it all out, The Gen in right under the kitchen and it's a bit noisey not bad but you know when it's running. As I was thinking of that I realized I would have to take out all the floor cabinets and Iam not sure if I would get the results Iam hoping for. Any thoughts Thanks Andy
tile tough to match. if your cabinets have a false bottom in them (dead air space) between bottom shelf and floor.drill 3/16 holes and use expanding tuff stuff foam in a can as extra insulation/sound deadner above genset area. Tile is not all that expensive sometimes less work and time to just replace whole area. Bob
Thanks Bob , never thought about the dead air space I do have some in all my cabinets Great idea
Andy ceramic tile is not that hard to match I am thinking Gary Bennett installed the tile and knowing him it came from HD or Lowes
