Title: Spring Cleaning! What's it worth?
Post by: jok on April 22, 2011, 02:36:41 PM
The Prevost conversion is complete and the MCI conversion has been sold. I have numerous items that are left over from the two conversions. Time to sell what I no longer need. Looking for help deciding what each item is worth so I can list them For Sale.

Includes; 17.5 KW Martin diesel generator, Heart inverter, pilot & co-pilot seat, Seaward 120 volt water heater, 4-Split Air units, Splendide 2000, MC8 Bus Air parts, small fridge, toekick heater and a starter (not sure for what, but came in bay of MC8 with 8V71.

I appreciate any ideas on value. Time to make room in the barn.

Thanks,
John

The price really depends on if there is someone in need and close by to pick it up. Shipping is a big factor these days on what you can sell things for.

I might be interested in somethings, but like has been said.......... shipping costs! The cost of shipping often makes it not worth it.

John,
If you have a price in mind for the Martin, I might be able to swing something.  A good CCO member deal?  517.202.3596

What are the specifications on the Heart inverter 12 or 24 volt?  Interested on capacity for output?

Tenor, you get that thing and upgrading wire sizes in the coach FIRST, before the BBQ effect kicks in, is the order of business at the next rally  ::)

happy coaching!

Hi all. Sorry for not getting back sooner. I was battling my 4th kidney stone and this was by far the worst. All is good now.

Bob, I don't have any Prevost windows. I ended up having to buy 2 from Prevost parts. If you ever make it this way you can check out what I have.

Glenn, I think I forgot to pay my CCO dues. Thanks for the reminder. I don't really have a price in mind. I saw one a while back for sale for $6000, but it is only worth what I can sell it for. Make me an offer. I have an identical unit in my bus and I love it. You can probably power everything your group needs for a concert.

babell2, the inverter is 12 volts and is 2000 watts. I saw one for sale on the west coast (http://losangeles.ebayclassifieds.com/classified-ads/?q=heart+hf12-2000u&output=gallery (http://losangeles.ebayclassifieds.com/classified-ads/?q=heart+hf12-2000u&output=gallery)). Lets make a deal.

artvonne, I think I sent a pm to you. If not let me know.

I know shipping can make the price go down. I am willing to deal. Time to make room in the barn. Let me know if anyone needs more information or photos.
