Title: Are all the Georgia Interstate Dump Stations Closed?
Post by: JackConrad on April 21, 2011, 03:55:30 PM
3 of the Georgia Rest Areas we have dumped at before were all closed on this Trip (I-95 NB at FL Border, EB & WB I-20 west of Augusta). Did Georgia closed all the rest area dump stations?  Jack

Not sure if they have closed them all or not but I had a hard time finding one that was functioning, but seems the 2 or 3 people ahead of me didn't care. It was standing 2 feet deep

Jack can't help you on 95 but the parking lot at the welcome station/office of the fairgrounds in Perry off 75 has one in the parking lot that would be near impossible to close down - if your going that way - HTH

MS has a few rest stops on I55 closed for renovation which makes the remaining dumps also usually full.

Actually, we will spend very little time on interstates for the rest of our trip. I asked the question mainly to help others heading north out of Florida.  Jack
