Who owns this beautiful 4106? I was traveling through a downpour on 581 in Roanoke, Va when I spotted this bus. It had Maryland vanity plates "STRAHND" and a FMC# 114040. I would have loved to have seen it parked and up close. I am sure the driver was wondering what on earth I was doing as I stalked him. It was uncluttered and gorgeous. The way I would like the outside of mine to look. Definitely one of the nicer 4106s on the road. Anyone know who this is? I am in Maryland once in a while and would love to meet the owner.
Now that's how a real bus should be.
The 4106 has really nice lines. It's nice to see a bus where the original rear is maintained with the rear window. Get tired of seeing everyone change to the fiberglass ends. Good Luck, TomC

I like the way he's done the taillights!
And the fact all the windows are still there! No S&S here!!

I always liked the looks of those, they look hot roddy for lack of a better description, and still modern. That one is definetly a looker.
I also enjoy the look of the original windows and original front and rear styling, signage. In this MC5 I drug home, I want to preserve that look. I found it exciting that my wife felt the same way. Camper on the inside, Bus on the outside.

I got around to uploading the video onto Youtube. To bad it was in a down pour, and I forgot to turn the radio off so no sweet Detroit diesel sounds. :'(

haha!! You really are an obsessed stalker arent you ;D
I know this is an old thread but I was wondering if anyone knows if this tailgate is stock or not. Ive never seen one like it before. Very nice looking for sure.

No that is not stock, it was added to for the jake brake valve cover.
Don
I would call it modified stock. Very thoughtfully done for sure.
If I get a set of jakes Im going to shamefully copy that design. Really adds to the bus lines I think.
