Anybody know the wheel base on a 23' PA? and the outside width of wheels? I have one given to me without motor & tranny & need to know if I can haul it on an 18' trailer.
What chassis Ford or Chevy if from the 70's it will be a Dodge chassis
good luck
Don't really have any details other than it's an old 23' Pace Arrow has a genny, a/c, all appliances except fridge & it rolls I may just dolly or towbar it. My so called buddy that I welded up his receiver on his trailer to hold his wench plus he broke one of my unibits wants $300 to go get it for me. Some friend
Get me the year model but if a older unit will be the same a 1 Ton Dodge truck
good luck
Hoping this thing is a class C at 23' it should be I think.
do you mean the bed lenght is 18'? If so, it should haul it, but would mh would need to go as forward as possible... I hauled a 22' on my 16' bed equipment trlr Ok two yrs ago.
If from the 70's I doubt that lol my wife just sold one someone traded her man for a while I thought I was going to have to work on it but it is gone now it was a Dodge 1977 model think it had a 413 or 440 engine with plastic carburetor of all things and a industrial engine also
good luck
On the old Dodge based motorhomes of the 70's and 80's, the wheelbases were 138, 159, 178. The 23 could either have the 138 or 159. And the wheels were inboard of the edge-don't know the correct inches, but probably will fit inside a flat bed trailer. Good Luck, TomC
