A&E power awning with the scissor type arms. Motor turning shaft turning;roll not turning Shaft turning inside roll. Is there a shear pin or clutch inside roller? where? before I tear into it. Bob

Bob, feel for a indention on the roller you should find rivets there they shear, at least they do a Zip/Dee

got it end cap had flat place to act as locking mech was rounded out
