We are definitely(Hope that doesn't scare anyone away! ;D ;D) coming up and wouldn't miss it for the world Michael. Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park, a Bucket List Item to be sure! ;)
Red Rider just booked for the Rally ;D
We are counting down the days... ;D
Will dogs be permitted? on the leash of course ;D

Will dogs be permitted? on the leash of course ;D
Yes of course they will allow you Van as long as Cheryl keeps you on a short leash!
OH and to all BRYCE Canyon is a MUST! It's so cool that they named it after me!
;D BK ;D
LOL! Ya got me BK! ;D Problem is, I never been on a leash before, well never in public anyway, but thats another story lol. :D:o :P
The real reason I inquired, is we want to get my Mom up there with us, and that means bringing poochie with us also. We would like very much to be able to spend as much time at the rally and Mom has never been well enough to hit the open road after her stroke. The change of scenery I think would do here good ;) She is doing much better now, And still a tough ol girl at 90 :)
Yes Van, Bring the Puppy ;D M&C
Thank you, make it 3 then, plus me on a short leash ;D
SOoooo Van, Are you bringing the bus? ???M&C
Michael, I have to replace the bogey tires right now and am looking for a set, We are hopeful, but will be there for the festivities either way for sure. ;)
Van
Great, Good luck with your tires. M&C ;D

Hey Mike,,, make sure you get Mike & Nina Orourke ( Red Rider) on that list. >>>Dan
The possibility that we will make it is looking better, ;D but still not sure yet. :(
Michael,
We are listed as Lawrence Jones-2
We are Larry and Judy Jones from Tijeras, NM
Had to come over in the neighborhood and drop off a trailer for some warranty work. This is a good excuse to make that happen. Looking forward to the rally. I've got another couple that may be along with us if we can get his bus back together in time. I'm going to start work on it tomorrow. I'll be in touch to add them if we get far enough along.
Van,
Would your bogey tires make it to the rally?
I've got a couple of good 11R24.5 Yokomammas that I could bring along and have them mounted up while you are there. They are both less than 2 years old and one of them has less than 10K miles on it. Think about it if it would be of help. We are planning an early arrival, no later than 4/26 that would give some time prior top the rally to get them done. I'll be as easy on the pocket book as I can.
Thanks Flatspot, I sent you a PM ;) :)
Van, don't tell Jones you are a friend of mine or he will charge you double lol huh Jones
good luck
Doh! ;D I wonder if he could use a couple of Envoy tow adapters :o ;D ;D ;)
don't trade my adapters for tires lol Jones will cut you some slack he is ok but he cheats at cards I think lol
good luck
;D
Clifford,
I have to charge Van double he want's both sides and you are the one that's a card... no cheating you on that one.
Van,
Hope to see you there regardless if you are in the bird or not. I'd do some trading on bike parts or something like that but then the wife would want a horse...
Keep the Faith
LJ
Larry what was the name of that card game we played in Stanley Id I need to practice before I do that one again so I can watch you and Smith lol
good luck
Cliff, I sent you a PM. M&C
Clifford,
Screwy Louis is the name of the card game. Something the Corbins introduced us to to make fuel money for them...
Smith's bus is back together and he is planning to make it to the rally as well.
We are planning on arriving on the 24th and leaving on the 2nd
Smiths will be there the 25th.
Come on along and rub in how that 6.5L GM sips fuel
I'll go over the card game rules one more time for my sake.
LJ
Lol! Two birds and an SOB! Priceless! ;D Come on now Cifford ;D ;D
Snow day in W Vegas ???

Wanted to, but the bride cannot talk her boss into letting her have some time off, so we cannot make it. We know several of the folks who are attending and would really like to be there, but alas, it is not going to happen. We might look you up on the backhaul from Seattle (we are coming thru the area on our way to LV to see Van) that might be an option.

He is right about where I thought he was, thanks. Yeah, AZ #89 north out of Flag is quicker and it isn't all that bad of a highway, nice stretch of two lane. Saw Sonnie yesterday, he had Williams'bus in a million pieces, man what a job. I sure did appreciate my old hoopie after seeing that.
Hope you are feeling better.

I hate driving through the Navajo Nation all the drunks walking and driving that highway was under construction last year it is a no brainier for me straight up 95 to Vegas and I 15 to Hurricane won't even be a argument with Pasty ( the GPS)

Hey,
If I come can i just get by with a single target on my chest or back instead of the two? Start'n to feel conspicuous. That dot in the center of my forehead titled "bonus points" is ruled out once and for all.
Is it odd to ask what breed and size of dogs will be there? Their activity level?
I am truly disappointed that I can't make this event. So many are on my must meet list.
I wish you all the best of times and safe travels.
John
Hey John, sorry you can't make it this time. :( We are giving out "Get Out Of Jail Free" cards to everyone with a Bus. :o Our Resort will be hosting another Rally in the Fall. Hope to see you! ;D All the Best, M&C
Great! Fall it is.
Thanks,
John
Michael, is there any place in St. George to get my bus washed , the weather in northen Nevada is not good, just keeps being cold and raining, going to head south Tue, get to someplace warmer, so we will probably get to the rally wed. a day early.
Got to get this Eagle shined up for sure now that you know who is going to be there, We did not pass inspection a few weeks ago when we stop by his place.
Matt
That's right Matt, and I will be checking for cleanliness inside the wheel wells also, so not cutting corners on the detailing this time or else! :D ;D
Soo.... Scrubba-Dub-Dub!
See ya in the Tub! ;D
Hey Matt, you can wash your bird right on your site. ;D M&C
Well been out washing the Bus in the wind, rain, and yes snow showers, i am at least going to get to St George with new dirt on.

2 MORE DAYS!! :)
C'mon Friday!! ;D
;D Yes, 2 more days! ;D
Leaving in a few hours probably just go to Ely, not any warmer there but a good place to park,
Anybody know what that road from Panaca,NV 319 turns to 56 to St. George is like , been 30 years since i been that way, i remember it being steep and crooked, but then again could be thinking of different road.
Thanks, Matt
Twas still crookEd ;) and steep 15 or so ago, it twas it twas. ;D
We travel the Panaca to Cedar City (Utah Hwy 56) quite a bit. Mostly two lane. Some grades but nothing special. Watch out for cattle. Utah and Nevada are open range States. That means you have to fence out cattle as opposed to fencing them in.
See you at St George Resort
You guys look out I just saw Ed while I stopped at a light in Mohave Valley he was on highway 95 north headed your way
good luck
Last year about this time a fellow from Washington state with an 04 east bound east of Modena, Ut. got hit head-on by a Dodge 3/4 ton and totaled the 04... He bought my 06 and continued to Washington,,,,,,,I don't have another 06.>>>Dan (Be carefull)
Darn it Clifford, i was trying to sneak up on them! ;D We are stopped in Laughlin for the nite. Gonna time it so we don't hit too much of the Vegas rush hour tomorrow morning, if that is possible!
Anytime after 8:am you'll do fine Ed ;) You know you can't sneek through Clifford's grid square, and him not know it :D ;D I'll probably sneak up on ya when ya reach my sand box ;D ;D
Van, i figured that maybe he would be taking a nap, or have his back turned or something! :) Probably won't leave here until 8 or so. All depends on how we sleep tonight and how much of a case of hitch itch we have. ;D
::) ::) ::) 1 More Day ::) ::) ::)

:(
I just called Mike and canceled out for this weekend. We received a call on the Morning of April 15th that my grandfather had passed away he was 94 years old. We left for Montana in the bus Saturday the 16th after de-winterizing the bus and buying a few batteries :( We found out when we were a few miles from the Montana boarder that the funeral would not be held during Holy Week. This impacted our plans as we were planing to be back in Nevada on the 24th to work and get ready for the rally. We ended up calling our employers and extending out our leave for the funeral. With all that said we will not be able to take the time off from work to attend the rally :( We did have a very good trip to Montana in the bus with 1600 miles for a shake down run for the start of the year. Fuel was hard to swallow at $4.22 per gallon. The grand kids were able to spend time enjoying the bus also :)
John
Sorry to hear your Grandfather passed. My Dad is also 94 and everytime the phone rings ya know. At least you had a good trip!
Dave

Sir Van
We're eating donuts and sipping coffee while Clifford tells us how to be a better Bus-aholics. Alias Smith & Jones are plotting to kidnapp Yoda and everyone else is amassing for the Tag-a-Long to Zion NP ;D
5:30, time for them yummy BBQ Beef sandwiches with all the trimmings. MMmmmmmmm ;D

This is what is what my bus looked like this morning in Wells. Wish we could have made this trip if nothing else to get warm.
Have Fun
John
The Pot Luck Dinner with Christi's BBQ Beef Sandwiches hit the spot.
At 6pm Nickel's Honky Tonk Merry-Go-Round Show hit the stage, everyone had a great time. :o
Bus Show & Tell at 1pm :D
Bus Show & Tell was great, we opened it up to all the RV's on the resort. Very good turn out.
The Dinner Show will be one to talk about for the ages. Taco plate and The Michael Hargis Show. :o WWwwwwoooooooo!
Clifford was a good sport ::) You'll have to ask him for specifics ::)
We will be posting a link to our rally later. ;D
Breakfast then a mile and a half hike-a-long to work off them pancakes :D
Sorry we couldn't be there Michael. Where's the pictures??
Pic's to come soon Bob.
Carrol Hall won the Minute to Win it Turny, Hamburgers and Hotdogs with all the trimmings! ;D
Well it's over. You know, the worst thing about a Bus rally is when you say goodbye! All the old friends and the new ones fire up, hook up and blaze out the driveway. I know I will see them again but its still sad to see them go. Is there a forever rally? Hmmm.
We will host another Bus / RV Rally in the fall. Until then, you guys be safe. All the pic's and happenings will be posted on/at http://busybussin.blogspot.com/ (http://busybussin.blogspot.com/) in the next day or so. All the Best, M&C ;D
I'd like to give a shout-out to M&C. What a great job. I don't believe those two got any sleep all the days we where there. They have that park in wonderful shape and super clean. Everybody had a swell time. Michael please make me reservations for the next one, whenever you decide on a date.
I'm going to have to watch my weight for a week or so after all tht great food. (loved those fresh baked cinnamon rolls)
Hope everybody has safe travels to their next stop.
One great time was had by all ,this rally would be the one to attend if you can only make one a year and about the cinnamon rolls they were great and I don't even eat cooked raisins lol (picked those out)
good luck
We had a great time, met good people, we our very glad we went , this was our first bus rally, will sure be planing on going to the next one.
Only problem i had was the cinnamon rolls, maybe next time they could make half with no raisins .
Thanks again Mike and Cristy
Matt and Carolee
Waste of good grapes is that what you a saying Matt LOL
good luck
Yep grapes belong in wine and ,,,, I cant think of anything else
Matt
We had an absolutely great time, food was the best. I agree, one of the best rally's we have attended thus far, by far ;). Although Our time there was cut short ( Mom first) we had an absolute Fabulous time, count on Cheryl and I to return in (hopefully) the near future with our coach, the Entertainment was top shelf and fun as all get out, that includes the fancy brass polishing technique demonstrated by our own... Well... no names mentioned here ;D, but it was neat hee hee to behold. A must attend IMHO ;) Thanks for every thing you guys did for us! safe travels to all headed down the hiways and byways, till next we meet.
Great job every one!
Van & Cheryl
Michael and Cristy,
Thanks for all the effort. It was a great rally even though the girls beat the boys in the Minute-to win-it. I still got my Hot Wheels winnings that I've modified from the raisins from the Cinnamon rolls...another use for them.
Good to meet all the bus nuts that showed up. Really enjoyed everyones busses and company.
I have to agree with Clifford even if you can only make one Rally, Do It!
Thanks again,
Larry and Judy
Attend guys you may get lucky and get one of Larry Jones stuffed burgers good job on the burgers Larry you home yet
good luck
ATTN Rally Go'ers: We will be removing the raisins from HALF the Cinnamon rolls at all future St. George RV Resort Rallies ;D
:o ::) 8) NO RASINS unless you want them 8) ::) :o
Everyone Wins ;D
Mike, Sonja said that is not fair to the ones that like the cooked raisins ( mostly female) lol
good luck
;D FIXED ;D
Don't you love cry babies lol good job
If Bill and Arlette are still there have Bill call me at home I found his parts he needed
good luck
No, they left yesterday :'( They are still with Bob and Cindy and headed to Brice NP. ;D
They headed to Zion for a few days, then going to Bryce. ;D And let me also say thanks for a great rally. Stopped by the office this morning to say goodbye but you guys weren't there. :( We met up with Paladin in Salt Lake City and gave him the old pilot and co-pilot seats out of our bus and then took off and decided to head for Yellowstone. Made it to Kemmerer Wyoming for the nite. Fueled up in Evanston Wy. it took 99.76 gallons to get there from where we filled up at the Love's at I-40 and Hiway 95 just north of Lake Havasu Az. Got 6.19 mpg which wasn't too bad considering all of the climbing we have done and all of the head winds that we ran into. :)
First off they're buns, not rolls. Roll is what you do with your wife behind the barn.
And second if I'd known there would be cinamon buns with raisins I'd have made more of an effort to get there.
I'm seriously disappointed in you Clifford. Up to now I thought you were a man of discerning tastes.

Rolls? Buns? Behind the barn? Ah the "good ol days."
I think I will have my jello now.

Those two write with the same quality that they built their bus with. I wish I had the capability to express how much we enjoyed our time at the Rally. Maybe I'll start with buying a camera.
Thank you one more time M&C.
You are Welcome Mike. ;D M&C
