If it should happen to let us come at all, we would only be able to come by for the day, we will see. Yall have fun and enjoy! Maybe we can make it to the Halloween rally. Man, and I so wanted to see Elvis perform. ;D

Ruthi-
You will be missed, as well as that beautiful Dina conversion that some of us saw in Arcadia!
If you can swing by Palmetto Cove for a day visit, please do. Gary will fit you in.

Ruthi,
Come to the rally if you can,
you'll meet many friends, both women and men.
When you travel, in that converted Dina bus,
Travel at 55, as now days saving fuel is a must.

Arrive at the Cove as early as you can,
There is many sights to see around every country road bend.
There is a flea market on Wednesdays, you could just to die for,
I assure you that you will enjoy, & be asking for more.

Friday night, plan to see JR & the Peppercorn Band,
Saturday night watch ELVIS sing and wiggle, as you clap both your hands,
I guarantee room for Ruthi, if she plans to attend,
That goes for everyone, all children, women and men.

Dave & Carol will be there serving their famous NC links,
There will be plenty of food, coffee and your favorite cold drinks.
Bring your favorite folding chair to move from bus to bus,
At this rally, visiting with busnut friends is truly a must.

Bring those bus treasures & craft items to sell,
Place them in front of your bus, with prices you wish to tell.
Come to relax and enjoy the view,
As Palmetto Cove beauty comes alive, for all of you.

This is the 2nd. bus rally starting out the new year,
John Mellis is having one at Myrtle Beach and SEBN is having one here.
Sometimes it is hard to choose, which one's to attend,
Try to go to all possible, enjoy yourself and your bus to the end.

Ruthi and others we hope you can come,
To Palmetto Cove Campground, to share the fun.
Bring your family and those you surely love,
you'll all fit in to our family, just like a new glove.

Make your reservations, as soon as you can,
The cut off is the 15th, & we hope this is your plan.
Go to the SEBN website, for all the bus rally details,
Forget all your problems, and anything else that ails.

Even though you are 4 hours away,
Your trip will be worth it, prevous attendees all say.
Just travel safely and in day light to  Palmetto Cove,
Wouldn't want you lost after those hours you drove.

We'll look forward to you being there Ruthi, hope you did not mind this rambling poem I wrote just for you and shared with others too.

Gary:
If we need more entertainment, you can do some poetry readings at Palmetto!
You are indeed talented.

;D ;D Thanks Gary, the rallies are fun,

I surely do hope we can come.

We have to go when work calls,

or there will be no shopping at the malls.

Sitting around visiting with bus nuts never fails,

Sure beats only know them only by e-mails.

Fuel is high, this I know, but we will try and give it a go.

Just so ya know, may still be a NO show.

With that I gotta quit, cause this is where I run out of rhymes, and out of time,
lol.

Seriously, Gary, thanks, yall are the best. I loved the poem, ;D needed that this evening. Made me smile! I really cant make reservations, as it is a 50/50 that we get to attend. Work is different this year, not the best the first couple of months, so, if there is work, we cant turn it down. I would love to be able to make it, but, it would be a last minute decision, so, it would be too late to get in on all the extras.  :(  Either way, I hope it turns out great for everyone!

Ruthi, is it true that Walmart is cutting back on store openings?  A friend of mine works at a refrigeration company and he said that Walmart/Sam's Club recently cancelled almost every order for 2011.  They aren't taking the business elsewhere.  They just aren't doing the projects.

I hope things turn around for you business wise.  I'm a little worried about my job with oil prices.  Retailers won't advertise as much if customers don't have money to buy.

(I do wish Walmart would expand to a Super Center at my local store.  They have had plans on the books since before the economy tanked and they keep going back and forth with the city to get approval.)

Brian, they are not building as many. For several yrs they have been been on a campaign to remodel all their older stores. It is suppose to over in 2013. I think they will always build, but not so fast and furious, as they have so much of the country covered now.We still do a few new stores here and there.  But, they will always be updating. We dont do our work through Walmart. Our work, as far as remodels, will always cycle. Get one round done, it is time to start over. I think most everyone now days is worried about their jobs. If not they should be. Times are bad, and not looking up for our economy. Certainly, fueling up the bus has gotten to be a nightmare. But, what ya gonna do? Carry on, carry on, and hope. I hope your job holds out for you.
