Has anybody Bused to Sun N' Fun before? What kind of facilities are there? Showers, bathrooms...eg. Considering taking the bus shell, not completed.

I volunteered there last year at the metal shaping tent, a very fun event. Unfortunately the RV spots are usually full almost a month ahead. I rode my bike through the RV area to check it out and as far as I remember there are only primitive camping areas but there are facilities. A very fun & worthwhile event with tons of workshops.
Check into being a volunteer , first year you are supposed to pay, fortunately I did not. Go to their site and see if you can still volunteer.
I was told I could park my S&S in the general parking area during the day, but could not camp there. That may be of interest, but I'll forewarn you they have had some down pours that cause a terrible mess in that unimproved parking area. I cannot imagine having a coach in that muck.

I worked camper check in for 11 years so I have a little info that may help.
There are always parking spaces for your RV. When I say parking space that is all you get. There are dump stations and places to fill with water.
When you check in, you will pay for all the days left in the fly-in. There are no refunds if you leave early.
All the camping is the same price, from a tent to a 45 ft coach. There will be lots of converted coaches there.
If you go on line you can find the camping prices.

I have been there several times with my 04 and parked in the overflow lot (cow pasture) and
had no wet weather. The donkey woke me each morning. Good times
Just don't park by any Ferrari's
Appreciate all the info, and hope to volunteer next year.
Charley, wasn't that Ferrari the one that caught fire in the field a few years back?
Yep :o ::) ;D
