Title: Onan cover
Post by: opus on February 24, 2011, 08:52:21 AM
I have this genset: Video 2 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ttwfLDEs5yc#ws)

Am I correct assuming there is to be a box covering the whole thing?  After all, I wouldnt want this sitting outside without a cover...correct?

These were designed for installation in an RV generator compartment.  Here is a service manual on it:

There are at least two pecies missing  but you could make them fairly easy

I have the top shield and the exhaust shield.  What would you suggest I do if I was to mount this outside of a compartment?

I have an even older NH and it didn't come with the shielding that one has. I am not sure what is missing if it is anything. I am confused, where are you putting it exactly? Bus AC condenser bay, or just outside?

On a small flatbed trailer.  Too long of a story to try to explain...lol.  I guess a guy could make something.
