Title: Upgrading GM to DDEC & V731, or taking a DDEC to a MUI. What is involved?
Post by: Barn Owl on February 19, 2011, 04:19:15 PM
Questions:

1. How hard is it to put a DDEC in a 4106?

2. How difficult/expensive to convert a DDEC to a MUI.

3. Advantages/Disadvantages either way?

4. Same questions with the V731.

5. Can you mix the two?

Go find Bill Gerrie over at BNO.

happy coaching!

Yes, I should have posted on both, excellent suggestion.

Thanks

Personally, I like everything to be mechanical.  All the advantages of electronics and the additional fuel mileage will quickly go away when (not if) the electronics fail and you have to have the bus towed and analyzed.  Good Luck, TomC
