My mom called me tonight so that through up a red flag immediately, after the usual how you doing exchanges she told me my dad has breast cancer & has to go next week for biopsies & surgery.
Some of you met him at Kyles "Non" Rally a few years back, he really enjoyed that and I'm glad I took the time to spend with him in the bus there.
I'm very worried and upset.
Really sorry to hear that. Be thankful for the times you spent with him, and make the most of the time you still have.
Charlie,
My first cancer was a big chunk of my chest and two surgeries got it all, finally.
I, and I am sure all of us here, wish you well. God bless.
John
I'll keep both you and your Dad in my thoughts Ron. Please keep us posted as much as you feel comfortable with.
Glenn
Ron sorry to hear that! You have our thought and prayers!

Hi Charley, the good news is that it is treatable!
We are Praying for you and your dad.
I remember him well, super guy!
Jack
If you can get him to M.D ANDERSON hospital in Houston, TX or I.U. Hospital here in Indianapolis, Indiana. They are the best
for cancer treatment in the country! My prayers are with you and your dad.

Charley -
Bless you, your Dad your Mom. Terrible news, awful shock... we're never ready for stuff like this!
But the guys are right, there's plenty of hope... so hope for the best. And tell him you love him. I know what you're thinking, but tell him anyway (guys are so bad about that).
Nellie
Prayers for your Dad and family.
Ron,
I met your your dad when ya'll were at Gary LaBombard's. I had a wonderful time visiting with him. Sorry to hear about this. We will keep all of you in our prayers. Jack
Ron,
I remember your Dad as being one cool dude!
We miss y'all & are keeping y'all in our thoughts & prayers.
I'm a cancer survivor. One of the hardest things for cancer patients to deal with is people who hear "cancer" and think "dead". Cancer is a disease and it is treatable. Its a very evil disease and the treatment can be equally horrible but it is not a death sentence. Good luck with your father but please watch your attitude because he will have more than enough people in his life who think he is already dead.
Im sorry to hear about your dad. Cancer is evil! My mom has been battling it for a couple of years. Get the surgeries and pray they get all of it. Dont let him waste anytime in getting the surgeries done either. The real danger is if it spreads before it is cut out. Im sorry for your family
