I got my hard copy in early Feb. That's alright. I will always cut you guys some slack.
Mike,
I don't think I received my electronic transmission for Jan. Wife doesn't remember it and it isn't in my mail. I could have deleted it but that isn't even worth considering given the remote possibility. Would you please retrans or trans my copy to me?
Thank you all.
John
:(
Got mine in SC weeks ago, followed by the December issue the next day!
Boyce
This is odd, we weren't entirely back on our target date for mailing yet, but were closer. And as Boyce noted, some arrived much sooner. I'll look into it.
At this point though, anyone that hasn't gotten it yet should contact me either by email or using the Contact BCM button on the forum's tool bar or the main site's menu bar and I'll mail a replacement.

But that's ok! More to look at ;D
Gary
i got mine right on time. But i get the PDF versions. :) :) No waiting on the USPS for my ripped up by their machine copy. :(
John, you need to explain that you are in Costa Rica. Yours could be at the border guard shack where they are learning how to make a bus at your expense.
Mike, thanks to your staff (Chad) for getting mine to me on time, every time, every month.

I tried it out and I think I know what the problem is. The payment screen offers PayPal, Credit Card and "Pay by Check" options for payment. Along the right edge of the panel with those payment options is a column of "buttons" to click to select which payment method to use. Entering credit card info, but not selecting the credit card payment type causes it to come back to the same screen, which has PayPal as the second payment option. If that is what is happening, click the "button" to right of "credit card" and make sure all of the credit card information is still showing in the boxes, then click the "continue" button. That should work.
Mine arrived in Monday's mail. Looks good as always. I can't wait to read it in the "library".
Note to my future entrepreneurial self:
Figure out how to disengage the complaints section for one part of my business from my free BBS.
When the mag is gone...
Why wouldn't you direct these issues in private?
happy coaching!

Thanks for the support BW and others that routinely express it! It does mean a lot to us.
While it is never "comfortable" for us to see our shortcomings illuminated for all to see, I personally believe it is ok and perhaps even beneficial as long as we do our best to make it right in the end. Like every business or organization we have our challenges and failures, sometimes even compounding ones, and on a couple occasions real humdingers that leave serious egg on our faces. It is how problems are handled that is most important and is largely responsible for a company's reputation.
That is where I hope we are doing right and perhaps a little better than some businesses these days. We do all we can to be open, candid and personal in our responses, both public and private, and to always make right the issue. And it is in that handling that I hope we are defined.
We are a small business serving a relatively small niche. 3 ordinary guys, a few thousand bus nuts, and a nicely busy web presence that we are proud to be a part of. Have we screwed up sometimes? Absolutely. Will we drop the ball again sometimes? Without a doubt. Will we make it right? You bet! Will we grow better from the experience? We will do our best.
The magazine has been around 20 years and seen some pretty hard times and not always been all that it should be. But with the support of many bus nuts, it is getting better and I am confident it will be around a long time to come with the ongoing support of subscribers and advertisers.
