Plugged it in for about 3 hours after it sat for 2 months and she turned half a turn and fired right up! The brakes released perfectly ( I am so glad I rebuilt my air dryer last year) and I drove home about 45 miles and it ran perfect. I always have to be careful at warmup because I'm running15/30 rotella in my tranny but it shifted strong and sure and all in all it was a great ride to our new home. This place is just ideal for a bus tinkerer secluded, huge shed, huge parking area and 200 amps to the shed. I have so many projects I'd like to get to in the next couple months.
I confirmed that at or near sea level with no toad my 8v71 is more than enough power for me but those pesky mountains and the tow car change all that.
We will definitely have to do a bus rally this spring here at our place. We'd love to have all you area bus nuts over.
Keep it between the lines.

We're so happy for you. That first ride seems to last the lifetime of the Bus. Sounds like the perfect place to tinker.
