Title: Prevost trailers
Post by: Chopper Scott on January 24, 2011, 06:15:25 PM
I posted this on a new site I enjoy but had to also bring it over here. Pricey..... in fact almost as much as some of us gave for our busses to start with..

I emailed the seller and asked for the dimensions. Here is his reply.   Jack      Thanks for the inquiry. The length is 20 ft. 4" (inside) width inside is 97" and interior height is 89 1/2"....
Feel free to call with any other questions!
Thanks,

I looking for an Eagle Emblem, either silver or gold, for the back door of my trailer.  Anyone know where I might locate one other than Jefferson.

Thanks,

BCO

Hey Cliff, Paul told me to check "with you know who" and I passed.  Craig at Silver Eagle is that the guy in TN?  I want the one that is looking left ... that is the direction of the fast lane!  Vrrrooooom-Vrrrroom, sorry, I am mixing my own prescriptions again.

(I will look for a link to him on the net)

Thanks,

BCO

Prevost did not make that trailer the one I saw at Marathon they were selling were made by Forest River (Cargo/Mate) Marathon did do the paint they charge 50 grand for a paint job on a bus maybe that is why the trailer cost so much lol

good luck

I was wondering if the trailer was made by Prevost or not. I imagine they are like John Deere and have various products made by other companies and sold under the Deere name.

Nuts!  I found some small ones today, a left and a right, not as big, but they will do the trick.  Never could internet the IBP don't know what the story is on that.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it.

I always thought it was neat to see a trailer match the Bus pulling it, but this one is a real winner. Now I want to see an Eagle, a GMC 4104 or MCI-5 version.

Couple of guys I know have trailers matching their Eagles with Eagle siding but they are not tongue trailers they have a axle up front and they are easy to backup I know what one guy paid for his and you could buy a very nice conversion for the price lol

good luck

When we were staying in Kissimmie last year there were several rigs with matching trailers that probably cost more than my house. They all had Featherlight stickers on them.

What really set that Marathon trailer apart is the quality of the work, the fit and finish, and the tilt bed.  I've never seen an enclosed tilt bed trailer before, and that looked extremely cool.
