Cool cream colored Flex today heading west on I-10 Between Ft Stockton and El Paso. I followed him for a while. Man he was getting after it. Never once (even on hills) did he get it below 80 MPH!!
Was it one of us? Had to be the cleanest Flex I have seen.
I'm not up on Flxble models. I'm pretty sure it was gasoline powered. It had a big scoop on rear roof. Looked pretty short. 35' or less.
Could it have been a clipper??

He is headed for the Flx rally at Wickenburg AZ if it the one I thinking of has a 466 IH turbo diesel or a ISB scoots along pretty good huh check the board here for photo of the Quartzsite 3 years ago and it will be there I saw it in person NICE

if you see him please apologize to him for me following him and passing him several times to get a better look. I was driving a dark blue XL-II. I had a hard time keeping up with 60S DD!!

Same/similar model bus but this one was cream/tan solid color. I have searched but cannot find thread Cliff was talking about. If someone finds it please post a link.

Justin, those Flx people are the nicest bus group you will ever meet We are planning on going to Wickenburg to visit Friday then to Quartzsite have to go to pry the Eagle guys away from the Flx rally lol

Hope you have fun. If I had been thinking I would have left a day sooner. I have to make a stop to play at steel guitar convention in Phoenix two days then pick up a band in Tucson for a 19 day tour in Canada. Sure is gonna be fun fighting the snow and ice. I cannot understand why any band would tour Canada this time of year.......
If I would have been thinking, I could have went to the rally for a day or so..
Hope everyone has fun. Too bad I have to work. I think we should start out life retired and then start working when you get too old to enjoy retirement. ;)
