Title: 60 Series B500
Post by: 5B Steve on January 16, 2011, 09:27:30 AM

Just saw a 60 Series / B500 transmission listed  with 150,000 miles on the Baltimore, Md Craiglists for those that might want to look.

I have nothing to do with this post, just passing it along.

That's a nice bus!
Did they do that satin orange peel paint on purpose?
Don't get me wrong it looks good. Just thought it might be a good way to hide the waves in some siding.

The orange peel is the spray on bed liner material  you are seeing that more and more on buses I have a friend in NM that does that on buses,he does the roofs too

That seems like it would be A good idea. No matter how well A guy installs siding, it seems like you always get waves around all the rivits.

Where is the bedliner on this bus that you guys are talking about?  I guess I'm not seeing it?

If this is truly a 1995 why would it have a 71 series?  Heck, it should probably have a four stroke in a 1995.

A miss print Brian it doesn't have a 71 series that bus is a model 15 with a 6v92 you could get a 2 stroke in a Eagle or with any other engine up till the time they closed down.

good luck
