Title: Looking for Eagle 15
Post by: Phil H / Chicago on January 10, 2011, 09:13:38 AM
Hey guys,

I tried a few years back but had to quit on my first project....got the wrong shell (to rusty) and hired the wrong people to do some of the work. Just gave up and bought a motorhome to live in and turned my time and energy to a Sprinter van conversion to travel in. I'm about done with the van and getting ready to start looking for my next bus shell/partial conversion.

Always had my heart set on an Eagle 15 so if anyone comes across a 40 or 45' solid shell I would appreciate the info. My dream coach would be a 45' with a 4 stroke but I may have to adjust my wants with what I can afford.

Thanks,
Phil

If I had about $15 G laying around both buses & truck would already be on a hook headed here!

Thanks Clifford....I remember you telling me about them. Summer is not that far away. If they are still selling that high then I will have to keep waiting.

Thanks BK....I saw that Eagle....looks like the project I gave up on but just not as rusty. I learned my lesson/limitations....my next coach must be mechanically sound. I don't mind some frame modifications, stretching, roof raising, slideouts, but I need to have the drivetrain already in tact. I am not a mechanic and too many people who told me they were on my last coach proved not to be either.

Thanks guys

Hmm, well might not be to big of a deal to hire a guy that KNOWS Eagles and putting engines in them (he has a BIG YELLOW engine in his) that is not terribly far away from it to get you started on the project!
We know he has the ability to do it and do it right! I just don't have a clue if he is interested or how much $ it would take if he were.
Once the drive train was in, it could be driven anywhere for the rest of it! ;) (that has been done too - hasn't it Don?)
Oh, and don't mind me rambling, I like spending other peoples $! ;D

Is this one of those illustrations of "rust issues" I have been hearing about?
