Title: Create a PARTS WANTED section

What would it take to create a Parts Wanted section on this BCM site. Many of us are looking for a particular part at times and it would be great to able to post a want so others can check it out at times. This would be valuable when someone comes across something and remembers Hey! someone on the BCM site needed that.

Steve : I agree! By the same token I have listed parts for sale and only have sold one item. Could prob fill up a page or two myself with parts for sale. Lucky me I found a local guy running several prevost and he is slowly buying surplus parts.     I need headlight trim rings for 98 prevost XLE.     Also one Factory Docking light housing.    Bob

The way i work if u have it i will buy it,if u dont have it i will find someone else to buy it from,I think it will be awsome if u make that tread<I vote for it

My thought is that a "Parts Wanted" section here would be a great tool for anyone looking for a particular part for their bus wheather it be an Eagle, Prevost, GMC, MCI, Etc. We have a "Bus Related Items Wanted" section over at http://mcibustalk.com/bbs/index.php (http://mcibustalk.com/bbs/index.php) but it is strickly for MCI conversion related Items. With BCM being the DADDY of all Bus Conversion sites, and where most everyone in the bus world is a member here, I could see where it would be a useful tool on this site.

It looks like we are getting some response. Who does the site modifications. Maybe he or she will pipe in and give us their views. :o

We have a section more need to read and use it, these guys can just do so much and somebody has to pay for the bandwidth and this being a free board sure not us members lol

I don't see why you couldn't post your Parts Wanted in the Parts for Sale section of this board. [keep within the $$ limits]

I think if you keep all your items listed in one post it may not clogg things up too badly..

Lets try it out and I'm sure that if it gets very popular that we could expand it to it's own section.

Maybe the heading could just be changed to For Sale and Parts Wanted. Then there would not be a need for an additional link. Not everyone may always look at the For Sale items because they may not need anything but they may have some parts that someone needs.
