Title: GMC parallelogram rubber
Post by: brando4905 on January 04, 2011, 05:22:04 AM
Anybody have a source for the window rubber for the parallelogram sliders on a 4905? I need the one that seals the window to the bus body.  Checked all suppliers that I know of and can't find any. I need enough for two windows.

Thanks,
Brandon

PS--Anyone with a H8H-649 or 4905 parts manual, could you look up the part#s for these seals?

Brandon,

If you don't get the answer sooner, I will look them up tonight when I get home.

Have you checked with Luke?

Brandon,

I come up with 2 numbers:

673936; fits 1st and 2nd series sash assemblies

2005268; 191" long, cut to fit, effective w/ 3rd series.

I'm not sure where the different "series" began and ended. Logic says yours would be 3rd. Perhaps one of the GM gurus can enlighten us.

BTW, my parts book is dated October, 1976.

I checked with Luke awhile back, and he had everything else, just not the window to bus seals.

Bob, thanks for the part#s. Another board member said he might have some, just needed #s.

I also checked with Motion Windows, they said they didn't have any. I bet they do have some if I was buying the windows. ???

I found the window rubber I needed, got it in the mail yesterday.  ;D

Any GM owners out there, check with Doug W.(Tekebird), he may have what you need.

Thanks a bunch Doug.
