Happy New Year from Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia! We drove out from Ontario just after Christmas to spend New Years at our new place, and check on the buildings (two commercial fishing boats and three RV's spending the winter inside, which is nice). We drove out through "The Blizzard", roads did not quite close, but it was as bad as I've seen it. Spent several hours at 35 mph behind snow plows, which is probably why I made it no problem. We have a foot or so of snow here.
I am connecting to the internet using our new "Turbo Hub", a 3G network router that has Wi-Fi for up to 15 devices. I am getting about 3.2 meg download and 1 meg upload, which is faster than my ADSL at home, but the ping time is long, so things take a second to start loading but load fast once they start, which is kind of odd.

I asked cody what his new years resolution was last night, we watched dick clark and realized that he is over 30 now(he was born november 30, 1929), nice quiet night at home, no music to play so no need to go out in the freezing rain and play bumper cars. He said he wasn't going to worry about the ones that pretend to be friends and enjoy the ones that really are, he had an evil grin cause he got a video file that he watched and sent on to somebody at tech.
Happy New Year to all. I'm still waiting for my wife to tell me what my New Year's resolutions are. I'll let you know.
