what is the best way to remove old heat duct or is it needed for strength of bus?
I don't know about Eagles but in GMs it is a great way to route additional wires, air lines & etc between front and back.
In my two GMs the old bus heat works great.
I would leave it.
THE PO RAN THE HEAT DUCTS INSIDE THE DRIVERS SIDE FROM THE NEW DUCTED PROPANE FURNICE. b UT THEN THEY RAN THE ELECTRIC BESIDE IT LETING IT LAY ON THE FLOOR OH MY WHAT A MESS. I would like to get rid of them in the new bed room to make a nice looking transition from the floor to wall.
Can't and won't say on a eagle but on the prevost and mci they are the first thing to go when I do a conversion. Bob
Remove those it has nothing to do with the strength on the Eagle then check by the boogie and see if the old heat exchanger has been removed if so plug the fresh air returns they have doors by the fuel doors on each side

the heat exchager has been removed i will check to see if they pluged them doubt they did the left two 2" holes open behind the old cabnents in rear salon they went right down to the engine you would not belive the black soot every ware what mess to clean up. thanks for the replies.
I agree with you on the ? able work on some entertainer coaches the one I just took apart was prepared by a professional converter. Not in-pressed at all even found brown 2 wire lamp cord buried deep under conversion walls. Not impressed at all!
Thats funny I found three in the back salon already. Sometimes I wish we didn't tear it out this far but im glad i did so i can fix it right and make safe for my family. and i believe it is going to look great to.
