Clifford we have found some do, some don't. But what my drivers and I do now is wait until we get fuel and ask about it while paying for fuel. Usually the manager looks at who much fuel we just bought and says "no charge"

I don't know about FJ but I was doing a 4-wheeler trip across SC, GA, AL, and MI a few months ago and I noticed that most of the rest areas in at least some states had dump stations. I was surprised at that but I was glad to see it.

However, a lot of the dump stations in rest areas are closed...I think all of them in GA are closed.

Several rest areas in Oklahoma "used to have them" but they welded steel covers over the top and cut off the water supply.  Most likely some kind of budget restraints from the people who never seem to have enough money.  A few Love stores have them also but they are rare.  You can find a dump station nationwide here:  http://www.rvdumps.com/dumpstations/

(Gawd, what has my life become, now I am a dump station expert?  See what you have done Luvrbus!  Hahahahahaha)

boxcarOkie, I feel it's better to be remembered for something than nothing at all.  Be proud to wear the title "Dump Station Expert".  Just remember, we learn for others knowledge.

That is exactly what I am worried about, being remembered for all the wrong things.  Yes it is true, he was the one who did the _______________ and then the neighbors called the cops!

I have AT&T that "automatically qualifies you for a crappy phone" as soon as they install the chip and turn it on.

I like that Don. I too have AT&T, but I like the way they do it with the sims card being interchangeable. (other wise I'd been without communications last yr when my Nokia went "dookie diving")

In 4.5 miles (the distance between my house and the repeater station or whatever it is called) the thing will "drop me 3 times."  It is really frustrating, they tell me that it is because of the influx of I-Phones coming onto the market, overloading the system.   Which is great, you are having a heart attack and need 911, while little johnny is texting pictures of his new puppy to grandma.

I know ... don't get cranky grandpa!  This is why I really NEED a dumpstation, my whole life on some days IS a dumpstation.

The sim feature is good, I have used it three times now (Yeah, I know.  The monkey never learns, what can I say)  Last time I bought the phone at WalMart $99, AT&T wanted $236 for the same phone (and a 2 year contract) I brought it home, changed out the sims and was back in business.

Got dropped the next day.  Go figure.

Yeah after I dropped mine last yr I went to Walmart and bought a $29.95 GO phone and was back in biz. I still use the same GO Phone today. I replaced it once and broke the new phone 2 weeks later (of course I bought the replacement off Ebay & had no kinda warranty)

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!  Man, you find the best things on this board.  I was just sitting here thinking almost the same thing (how in the world did this go from dumpstations to AT&T and then I get to the bottom of the page and here is your quote) take two atta-boys outta petty cash for a job well done.

Happy New Year (almost)
