Greyhound driver was charged. He ran the light.

Coach was spun 90 degrees, streetcar about 45 degrees, both trucks off the rails, big job ahead for the heavy repair shop...

The Greyhound is merely doing what it says on the back: "This vehicle stops at all railroad crossings".   I guess nobody thought this is the way it would stop.
