I've had good service from my Xantrex RS3000 pure sine wave inverter.

I can't recall exactly, but it seems I paid around $1000 for it in October 2005, with the Auto gen start module and control panel.

How about Dick Wright at Wrico?  He's a big advertiser in BCM.  He was great help to me when I converted my Eagle.

After a lot of research, hand-wringing and fuss I bought a Samlex pure sine inverter.  Straight inverter, no charger, no gen start, just inverter.  Very happy with my choice.
