Title: steering column installation - MCI 5B - Wiring diagram or advice requested!
Post by: scoobydo42 on September 04, 2006, 04:32:57 PM
I purchased a freightliner tilt steering column from Bart Grabhorn a couple of years ago and now am putting it in. Does anyone have a wiring diagram on how this steering column is wired. Its p/n is 14-13340-0 . It has about twelve wires. I think in time I can figure it out, but if someone has a diagram or has done it before, I would appreciate the help.
Thanks Marty Caverly

Greetings Marty,

Good to have you on board with us!

I've modified your subject heading - I know we've got some top flight MCI bus nuts who can probably offer some suggestions.

Please let us know how it goes.

Best Regards, Phil

Hi Marty,

Are you still looking for this?  Just in case, I'll give one more "bump".

Best Regards, Phil

I would suggest that you go to nearest Freightliner and get a photo copy of the schematic. You'll need to know the year and model of truck that the steering columncame out of.
