with some ideas for my hide away TV for the bay. I mocked this together in about an hour while it was raining and nothing else to do! It's supposed to hide IN the box when not in use and slide out of the box when you want to position it with a swivel for viewing! It's the first idea and thinking about mounting to the side bulkhead in one of the empty bay's.

I also found time to add a little chrome trim to my head light bezels and connecting strip between the head lights! Everybody has to have a little bling here and there! :)
Oh that little squiggley line I can thank a slug or snail for removing the clear coat but that too is soon to be fixed! Waiting on warmer weather!

Ace;
Did you ever finish your disposal maserator.
I finally got one out of a house I was working on that is 5/8 HP and almost new. Am trying to find the piece of brass for the plate and then put it all together. Like your TV cabinet and great idea. Lazy susans make good swivels for less.
Dave
I was thinking that using the TV mounting positons on the back of the TV would allow you to eliminate the TV base and skinny up the box a bit. Not sure exactly how it would work, but just a thought.
Brian
Yes I finished the disposerator and it works except I need to use a larger duameter hose than the one I had tried.
The swivel I used was 6 inches square. Thats the smallest and easiest I could find quickly. I used the bottom foot of the tv to mount it on 2 drawer slides. So far ut works as planned. Going to wait for warmer weather before installing in bay. That could be this year OR next!
Did you use the 3/4" hose like the article showed or what size do you think?I haven't soldered in the hose fitting yet.
Dave
dave I did not use the 3 quarter inch hose. mine was much smaller so a larger diameter hose probably work a lot better.
Thanks for the info I have a 7/8 fitting and will try the 3/4 " hose when I get it all together.
We will need more pictures when you get the TV done and along the way.Great project.
Dave
due to the opinions, I took it all apart and worked on making it narrower which I did. I was able to move the drawer slides from the sides to the very bottom saving about 2 and 1 half inches. So far so good!
