Title: Neede Cruise Air condenser fan motor.
Post by: oldmansax on December 06, 2010, 04:48:00 PM
I need a condenser fan motor & blade for a 1982 Cruise Air unit. I don't see any numbers on it so I am hoping Nick or any other Cruise Air expert can point me in the right direction. It is certainly a 120 Volt motor with a 6 blade fan.

Tom, the last one I bought for my Cruise Air was from WW Grainger 65 bucks if I recall about 1/2 of what the marine guys and Cruise wanted

good luck

Hi Tom,

Bring the motor to your local appliance parts house like Johnstone Supply or simular.

As Clifford noted, or a Grainger. Both places will be able to cross over to a shelf item.

Good Luck

Thanks Nick & Clifford. I am going to United Refrigeration today anyway so I will see if they can cross it. I figured the motor could be crossed pretty easily but I am a little concerned about the 6 blade fan.

There is a supplier on the east coast called AAP they will have it it is about 175 bucks with a squirrel cage.

I know have 2 used ones around here somewhere if you are interested but you would have to be patient I would have to dig it out plus things are very busy now and we are leaving for quite a while directly after Xmas.

I have no clue what it would be worth either, not much, maybe a trade or a future returned favor??

Thanks Joe but mine is a regular bladed fan, not a squirrel cage.

Check the Capacitor

Motor is locked up, fan is missing a blade.
