Title: Bus accident in SC.
Post by: 5B Steve on December 01, 2010, 07:30:38 PM

Was watching the news here in Indianapolis this evening, (Fox 59)  they showed a Grayhound  that rearended a log trailer.

22 passangers were injured. The driver had the worst injuries. They also mentioned that a log went through the bus!

Say a prayer for the injured!

One of my co-workers saw the on in St George, SC, said it did not look good!
The problem is that some of the guys hauling logs, do not have the proper lighting on the rearmost log, they are hanging down low, almost touching the ground and the trailers lights are hidden.  I saw one like that the night before less than 10 miles from where this accident happened!
I do not know this for a fact, however more than likely the truck came off the exit just in front of the bus, the bus would have come over the top of the bridge and never seen any lights on the log truck the way the logs hang down.
