Again for those new to bus conversions and for us who have to be re educated.(me) last week there has been discussion of tank sizes so lets go from there..I use surflow elect pump with a small expansion tank  then to a manifold for  pex red for hot and blue for cold tubing . A elect on demand hot water heater..I do mostly full service campgrounds with minimal dry camping..I make all runs go to a low point so they can be drained for freezing weather.  A shore line water connection is valved in and a switch to shut off the 12 volt pump close to valves. Others please add your system design.Both good and Bad..    Bob

Is the on demand hot water heater 110 volt or 220 volt?  I would like to replace my current water heater, but I only have 110 volt on board and all of the on demand systems I have seen are 220 volt.

Brian the one I have is from Lowes is 110 volt and cost 207$ will out heat most elect water pump flow rates.GPM.. Bob

Also mount a pump shutoff switch inside near the toilet or whatever is convenient, you won't be sorry when you spring a leak and need to keep it shut off except when using the toilet.

Don't forget to blow out the toilet flushing valve for cold weather storage and also the spray nozzles on the toilet and kitchen sink.

They are all designed to freeze and crack!! 

The spray heads are easy to replace and cheap but the flush valve is both expensive and very much a pain to replace.
