Hi, how goes the battle? why are the wires twisted for the signal? If they are not twisted what happens? Thanks for now.
You're dealing with a small voltage pulse. The pulse will be affected by adjacent wires as stuff is turned of an on. Current variations wills cause erratic readings. Reason is the any magnetic field, a current carrying conductor and relative motion between the two will cause a voltage to be induced in the conductor. Twisting prevents the magnetic field from having an effect on the conductors. Actually the voltages induced will cancel each other.
