jsimp1960 and wife visited this weekend with a trip over to MCI8tin tent (Duwayne) a hvac guy with mini-split system in his coach..It was a good time for all and I learned allot also..Good company--buses what else can you ask for..I was impressed with the heating side of the mini-split quick and quiet and time tested by a hvac guy (Duwayne's field). Just wanted to share a good visit between 3 busnut board members....Bob
Slow about reply, but been busy. Had a great visit with Bob and Judy. We got a lot of great ideas and advice, really enjoyed the hospitality and the time we spent just visiting. On the way home Sunday stopped by to look at some other buses through the fence at a lot and ended up with one. So the adventure begins. Came in Tuesday via a BIG wrecker. You know it would be too easy if you just drove it home. Has some issues with the motor, and been sitting a while. Got the seats out today, kinda trying to visualize where to go from here.
Jim glad it worked out looks like you might beat me done..seats out in 24 hrs great start! Bob
Jim,
Glad to hear you got 'er home! So do us a favor and tell us who towed it and how much for future reference! (was it yer local guy, or theirs)
Let, Bob, me, or any other busnut know if you need help or parts!
;D BK ;D
The wrecker was West Nashville Wrecker Service. The guy was great and even though it had rained he put it exactly where I wanted it. We live in North Alabama, so it was about 160 miles one way. He charged $1100. and that included 2 hours he had to do some extra stuff (He called me before he added the extra onto the bill). I am well pleased with how it all went and he got to it the next day after I called.

Yup good people over there @ West Nashville Towing!
And the "extra stuff" is what I was telling you could have been avoided by having it hauled on a "Landoll", but still not a bad price!
(extra's being he had to hook up supply and brake air lines, pull axles, and possibly block the suspension)
