I am making a check list for all my fluids. Please tell me what I am forgetting.
Engine oil
transmission fluid
power steering
batteries
radiator fan gearbox
wheel bearings
Coolant
windshield washer fluid
anything else?
coolant? Windshield washer fluid?
Ahh yes.
the oil in the radiator fan gearbox
wheel bearings
muffler bearings ;D ;D
rear end----Differential
drop box if the 8's have one.
by blower gearbox I meant radiator fan gearbox.
What is a drop box?
Also, How do I know what type of coolant to use? Is it possible to overfill the coolant?
Drop Box is like a gear on top of a gear for lining up the Drive shaft to the Rear end because on 5 er's they tranny is higher.

MC-8's don't have a drop box. they may have greased front wheel bearings instead of oil filled. Mitre box is indeed the blower gearbox. Amazing how hard it is to thing of all of the lubricant/coolant using things on a bus...I cannot believe I missed the rear end! And the muffler bearing!

I believe they will be oil filled unless someone switched them over. (wheel bearings that is)
Air Horn Lube and destination grease. ;)

Ahh, I think they ran out of that type of lube at my local store.
Can anyone tell me what Is the best way to find out what type of coolant I have in my radiator?
