Title: crown 12v converter
Post by: phil4501 on April 15, 2006, 06:23:43 AM
My coach has a crown marine converter. Are these as bad as an RV converter? I just bought 6 golfcart batteies from Sams. The plan is to use these as a temporary fix while I handle some other issues on the coach.

Do youi have the manual?

It looks like a good quality converter.

Thanks...I figure if I keep the batteries full, this setup will hold me till I get back to this system. I hope to be camping in our coach within a week or two. This system will be good practice for me and my family.

The system will be upgraded piece by piece over the next two years while we use it for 2 to 7 day boondocking trips. I was going to leave the converter tied to the system after a high quality inverter/charger has been installed. Please share your thoughts on this practice.
