Title: Windows
Post by: Mark Scott on November 14, 2010, 06:49:18 PM
Looking for a recommendation on a replacement widow(s) for my driver/ticket window and door window. I desire a slider with screen. Not sure about single or double pane, MCI 102A3. Thanks for your help. Mark

Just had those replaced in my 1984 MCI9 and they are very nice and fit like a glove. Simple to install! Motion Windows in Vancouver Washington. 4 or 5 week lead time.

Google for website.

Good luck!

Replaced the window in my MC-9 with  a replacement from motionwindows.com. It was a ggod design and fit perfect-easy to change out.

My OEM driver's ticket window was double glazed.  I found the visibility very poor at night when looking through to the mirror.  Sort of a double reflection.
I installed a Motion window.   Single glaze.  Visibility way better.
   Just my choice,  Iver.

When it comes to widows I think single pain is good enough, don't know if I could handle double pain.

I replaced my driver's window with a double pane window from Motion Windows.  It was not a drop-in replacement on my bus.  I had to make structural changes.

Anyhow, the reflection from the glass is so bad I can't use the driver's mirror when backing in many cases.  I had the same problem with the original single pane window, but the original window slid back so I could just open the window and see the mirror just fine.  The new window slides forward so I can't open the window to see the mirror.

I don't have an issue with using the mirror at night for normal driving even with the double pane glass.

Thanks everyone. I did the responsible thing and visited their website. Plenty of information. Mark
